Michael served as an early founding employee, graduating to Manager in the department responsible for core technology commercialization, playing a pivotal role in transforming Calix from a startup to an ASX-listed unicorn.
The LEILAC Project is a technology consortium which includes major cement industry and research partners tasked with Carbon Capture of CO2 emissions from the cement industry and Direct Air Capture (DAC).
Launched with the help of the European Union Horizon decarbonisation fund, this initiative has resulted in technology development essential to the expansion of DAC and CCUS.
